We loved our short stay at Quinta Marciala, as it is a small and cute hotel with big rooms! It is in a quiet area and downtown is just a few blocks from there. Daniel, at the reception, is very very friendly and helpful. The small pool is beautiful to have a cooldown. As we had a rental car, they offered to park the card behind the fence, which gave us a safe feeling.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and very much enjoyed it. The very friendly and accommodating front desk with the cozumel shore snorkel with lunch tips, which was an excellent help for me, especially with my limited Spanish. I had to work from my laptop both evenings and had no problems with the WiFi too, which is a massive plus for me. The rooms and bathrooms are good also – great for the price you pay. I would stay here again!
Our first visit to Valladolid was full of surprises, not least of which was navigating some harrowing one-way roads trying to find this property. But once there, we were so pleased with our choice of accommodation. Mildred checked us in with efficiency and top-notch service; she is a delight. We enjoyed helping her practice her English, and she helped us to make the most of our three days in the area.
Plentiful hot water, rain showerheads, comfortable bed and linens (but we needed more than sheets and had to ask for blankets, lol). Useful internet and cable tv services, there is a lovely continental breakfast served for only 50 pesos. Such beautiful people are working hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. We recommend and want to return.
The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly; despite language barriers, they went above and beyond to help me in any way they could. The hotel itself was beautiful and felt very safe, with a 10-minute walk into town along the main road. My room was spacious and very well equipped (good air conditioning, mini-fridge, ample wardrobe, excellent shower, etc.). I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely comfortable room with a double bed as well as a futon couch. Working TV, AC, fridge and hot water. Nothing exceptional about the place, but what makes all the difference is the excellent service from the receptionist (possibly owner?) He is kind, attentive to all our needs and very accommodating! Thank you for everything!
After very little sleep the night before, we were pleased to arrive at Hotel Quinta Marcia. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area partitioned from the bedroom.
